Pretty cool. Though it says it can take a few months before amount is credited.

I think this is a sham because I ordered some stuff from
Staples
and went through the VISA check out process. The order was accepted and I was informed that the order would be ready for store pick up within an hour. On my way to the store, I received an e-mail saying that they could not fulfill one of the two items. When I got there, the store clerk told me that the manager had cancelled my entire order!!!...is this garbage service or what?..I am not going to shop at
Staples
ever again, they are a waste of time!..you mean to tell me in this day and age with the internet and electronic inventory management, they could not tell me that they were out when I placed the order?

^ That has nothing to do with this deal really, rather it was just a store that has bad inventory losses so their stock counts are inaccurate, or one of the employees noticed the deal and snapped up the item for themselves.

You could complain to the mgr, and if that doesn't help, complain to a district mgr or HQ and maybe get a
Staples
Gift Certificate for your troubles but if you do nothing then the only one to avoid is that particular
Staples
location.

Wanted to order the Omnitech 14-Sheet Cross-Cut Shredder at
Staples
, but the $15 discount wouldn't work, even thought it cost $54.99 and you get a $40 rebate (making it free). Let me know if anyone else tries this deal and succeeds.

This deal does not take $15 off the order at time of payment. What it does is gives you back a one-time $15 statement credit "eventually", not necessarily on the same billing period statement.

That probably means the credit will show up on the first statement you receive that covers the period including the end of promo date - Dec 31st, that they'll just wait till the promo is over to process the credits for everyone at once.

FYI I never did find a comprehensive list of all the stores that accept Visa Checkout. Visa did a horrible job trying to list only a select few by category, leaving out some, for example HSN.

^ Thanks but what do you mean "all of the stores"? The article only lists about 17 in the US while there are more than that which use Visa Checkout. For example
Newegg
isn't on that list.
