39 Dollar Glasses is taking $20 off off any order with coupon code glassy20dollars. Shipping is $5 for one pair; free shipping with purchase of two pairs or orders $100+. Purchase price includes the lenses.
Their frames look a little lightweight... good to reduce weight, though not as sturdy as some.
Note they state "All of our $39.00 complete pair packages are made using polycarbonate lenses". If you're ok with that, you're good to go but you can get higher index of refraction with other lenses... at higher cost of course.
Overall, you can't really go wrong with a pair for $25 delivered except sometimes these discount places have funny customer service policies, for example once I ordered a pair from another place and they sent different frames than I ordered and refused to give a refund, instead offering half off my next order. It rubbed me the wrong way but on the other hand I ended up with a couple more pair at an incredibly low price, and it's nice to have spare sunglasses in your car glovebox or a sports impact resistant frame, etc.
However, my experience mentioned above was dealing with a company not located in the US, so they weren't bound by US consumer protection laws... something to keep in mind, next time I'll order from a place that at least has a US address even if they do the same drop shipping from Hong Kong as most of the lower cost ones do.
Tried to check out - $10 off only. Their main page advertises 10% (percent) off - tried that (on an order of $150) - still only $10 off. Call it #failure on Twitter.
Anyone know about the quality of their frames?
