Sling TV has now added 4 more channels to its basic package for $20 per month: History Channel, H2, A&E and Lifetime. There are now 19 live cable TV channels including ESPN, ESPN2, CNN, AMC, IFC and TNT. A 7-day free trial is available to new customers.

This appears to be a pre-emptive measure to compete with Apple's rumored over-the-top streaming TV service expected to arrive later this year.

For a limited time, you can still get a free Roku Streaming Stick or Amazon Fire TV Stick when you prepay 3 months of Sling TV.

At launch, Sling TV scored a solid 8 out of 10 in our CheckOut review.

Got the 14 day trial on my
Amazon
fireTV. Tried watching the NCAA games and they look like ****. Tried it on my Roku 3 same. Pretty bad when the wife even says it looks blurry. Checked settings and is set to no limit HD on both devices. Have 20 down from TWC. The quality via antenna is 100 times better. Ended up connecting a PC to TV via HMDI and used CBS sports website to live stream instead was much better quality. SlingTV has some way to go. SAD!!!!

tempted to try it to get a Roku stick since I already got
Amazon
and Chromecast. The problem is that this will only work on one device at a time, so if I am watching something on my iPad no one else will be able to use Sling in the house. Do they expect consumers to purchase multiple subscription for multi-device households ?
