I suspect the listing error that says 1/8" ratchet really means 3/8" ratchet.

They shouldn't have mentioned 1/8" or 3/8" at all because there is no drive shaft to be measured, just their proprietary ring cam setup.

Are you saying the universal max axess sockets are proprietary?

^ I was saying the ratchets are proprietary but yes the sockets also, aren't usable on a standard square drive ratchet bought separately.

Taken by itself this seems like a negative thing but the design allows fitting over long studs and getting in tighter areas so I see it as a compliment rather than substitute for a traditional socket set.
