Some comments at mention that this is too mild for Espresso but that it is good for regular coffee. I drink coffee and usually grind my own beans, so that's not a negative for me provided it isn't too mild (I like medium-dark). for $9.50 including Prime shipping for a kilo, it's cheap enough to try.
Looks like deal ended at 12 noon PST... had it in my cart, stepped out to do something quick, came back, and price was updated to regular price... coupon option was no longer displaying... bummer.

My coffee beans were delivered on Monday. They smell old and are kinda gray and have no oil. I ground some and it smells and tastes old. The expiration date on the package is December 30, 2016, so they aren't expired. I submitted for a refund and it was approved without me having to send back the defective beans.

I had the same experience (with the same outcome) the first time I bought Lavazza beans too. But my second purchase was much better. I think my first bag wasn't sealed properly, which led to the off odor and dry beans.

.. you know you can't do that.
