    I'm well stocked with CFLs, so by the time I start using LEDs, the price will have become more reasonable.

    Since my "local" Costco is ~2 hours drive away, I think I'll have to pass on that deal. Thanks for posting it, though!

    One question I have, concerning LED bulbs.....how well do they handle humid conditions?? E-bathrooms

    Well, the other option is the Cree bulbs, which are higher quality than these for $10 each at Home Depot.

    These bulbs have a 2 second delay before turning on, which can be a tad awkward.

    I'd have to recommend against using them in bathrooms. What little I've found in case studies indicates they degrade with exposure to high humidity. In addition, bathroom lights are generally turned on and off within a few minutes. This wears out the ballasts (true of CFLs as well). Lastly, unless your bathroom experiences hours of use, it doesn't make a lot of economic sense to put an expensive bulb in there since the amount of electricity saved will be very small.
