Good deal to get the two for this price, then you have the high capacity gear the starter cartridge lacks and ~ 2600 pages later a spare empty cartridge you can refill with bulk toner off eBay for $6 so when the other runs low you have a cartridge ready to replace it.

@energyx, i have used them at work, they are fine. no different than the newegg offbrand you see for 10.00

@dave_c, why even bother refilling these cartridges when they are so cheap? we have filled other toners at work and they do work fine until the drum is flat worn out. but these are so cheap i don't even want to deal with the messy toner mess, plus having to have refills on hand, just another thing to order and keep track of.

^ Because they aren't always this cheap, because bulk toner takes up less storage space, and because bulk toner is still less than half as expensive.

The drum is not built into these, that is why they are cheaper than the average cartridge. Refills mean less waste going to a landfill as well, less resources wasted duplicating something you don't need duplicated.

But hey, you can keep buying new salt and pepper shakers instead of refilling the one you have too... how much material and money you waste is your own personal decision and right to decide.
