"while retaining beneficial flouride" If your water is flouridated get a filter that removes it as well. Addition of flouride to municipal water supplies is a travesty and detrimental to health.
^ and yet it dramatically decreased tooth decay among the population. I can't recall anyone dying of fluoride poisoning, but gum disease is linked to heart disease.
Think about the fact that the average person 100 years ago, didn't have all their teeth by the time they reached 30.
