this is usually a scam , they will cancel it after 2 days and say it was an error like every other time they have offered free service....
It's pretty canadian bacon because their online selection is only a portion of the channels they even offer. No Fox Sports Radio for example.
Back when the trial offer ended that was included with our new car, they called and offered me a good price on a one year subscription. I asked if it was an auto renewal at the end of the year and was told no. I asked her if she was sure it would not auto renew, since I never get involved with any subscription that does that. She told me not to worry, it would end unless I called to renew, and she said they would contact me and remind me near the end of the subscription. One year later, a charge was made to my credit card at full price for another year. I was never notified and they would not terminate or refund the charges. I would never give these people my card number for a trail period, and would never subscribe again.

My car's XM just starts working when ever they have this free promo. I dont have a subscription so normally it just says Unauthorized Channel.
