Though I dislike low quality tools in general, if you're working on things where you need 3/4" driver you are likely working on something that needs quite a bit of torque and is all the more likely to strip the ratchet pawl or gear if you try with generic tools. I doubt the handle will break but stripping the pawl is the same effect, your hand slams forward.
