Lowes has the 48-Pack Utilitech AA Alkaline Batteries for $6 with free in-store pickup or $4 shipping to home. Enough 1.5V alkalines to power up dancing robots.
Amazon has the 28-pack Duracell Coppertop AA Alkalines (also AAA) for $10 shipped w/ Subscribe & Save + "Clip this coupon"
rechargeable batteries or this?
I have no clue what an Utilitech Battery is , but they sound cheap. The 28 count Duracells would be better but you will burn through them pretty quick. Get some good rechargeable Eneloops and save the landfill and your wallet.
Like 2 weeks ago Lowes had 30 packs of these batteries for $4. You could get 60 for less than the cost of this deal.
-- Just about any alkaline battery is the same. I bought some AA batteries from Batteries Plus and they told me that most batteries are made by Energizer. In fact ALL of Radio Shack's batteries ARE made by Energizer. Duracell is another maker and Rayovac is another. Mostly an alkaline battery is from one of the three. Get these if you feel it's a good deal. It's pretty rare to find a "cheap" alkaline, just stay away from non-alkalines & you'll be fine. Alkalines will last for years -- whether you use them or store them.
@FLDEALS. Yeah! I got that deal on Black Friday $4 with FREE shipping also!
Agree with BenKat - get some Eneloops. But for the 'other' devices that rechargeable doesn't make sense due to the cost, ie, clocks. Go to Home Depot this week.
Much better DEAL below...
Home Depot still has the $10 deal... I picked up several 60-battery packs for $10 last week.
30-AA + 30-AAA of Raovac alkaline.

Wait.
HD $10/60 = $0.167 per battery,
Lowes $6/48 = $0.125 per battery.
Am I smoking something I shouldn't be?
