When I looked it up on , it was $7.99. However, it's not clear what the thickness is. There was an answer in the questions and answers section, but I don't believe it. 3.54mm? That's quite thick for packaging tape.
Packing tape is not measured in millimeters thickness. It's measured in mils with mil being 1/1000th of an inch.
Premium grade heavy duty tape like that from Scotch is 3.1mil. Lightweight tape is closer to 2 mil. A direct comparison of the 2 #s doesn't really do the heavy duty tape justice because that also includes the adhesive layer so once you subtract that the plastic portion of the tape is more than 50% thicker.
Unfortunately they don't mention the thickness on this tape and there's no way to go by shipping weight either because 's shipping weight claims are all over the board and inconsistent with actual product weights on many different tape bundles.
