Adobe is taking 80% off Student & Teacher Edition Software with coupon code SAVE80EDU. Requires proof of eligibility (valid .edu address at qualifying university and college). Shipping for DVD starts at $6; free digital download also available. The pictured Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium Student and Teacher Edition is $449 - 80% off code = $90 downloaded
This is a load of crap, I ordered this thinking "what a great deal" "I love adobe" Now I am told that they will not be honoring the promotion. This is BS. Adobe has just dug themselves a very deep hole, hope they can recover.
The link is still valid, and not expired. They've listed the prices at the discounted amount.
During chat with Adobe Customer Service they had to say "We regret the confusion and sorry to inform these promo codes are invalid and will not be applicable."
This after receiving an order confirmation from storemanager@adobe & pending academic verification email from Identit-E.
billyecho - My husband and I got the same thing... he is on the phone with them now. When I was in chat with them yesterday they said "we will not be processing those orders". Like hell you will, we already got confirmation. We will be fighting this.
The graphic that they STILL have on the site states 80% off.
Yeah, Sucks! They now play dumb to that promotion. For those that ordered, and have had problems, mention that you will report their actions to BBB. See if they might help you out. I missed out on the deal... Pretty upset!
