CPU cooler with this bundle is junk, at least it don't support a 125 Watt CPU. The board and CPU can be had for $200 or less so basically you are just getting free RAM. For those that have a stock AMD cooler left over from a heat sink upgrade this might not be too bad to build a computer for profit.

Of course if you are building it for yourself it is a ok deal...not great. Newegg has the board & CPU with AMD cooler for $202.54.

Yea, TigerD runs crap cooler with these "deals". IDK I'd rather be able to run dual channel on the memory and then not sure what that ASUS mobo do with this RED stuff as it's 1.5V 10-10-10. I'd probably prefer choosing my own ram than messing with that one stick.

Now if your heart is set on that Asus Mobo I'd almost say go FX-6100 as with the $15 off with code EMCJNNA26 ends 10/10, then combo'd with the Xigmatek Gaia SD1283 120mm CPU Cooler. That's $207; though shipping is $7.60, sure you spend $25 more for 2x 4Gb memory of your choosing, but the cooler is good to boost that CPU.

JS called it, this is a system builder's special. At least it's an Asus board instead of Biostar or similar 3rd tier brands. Sorta surprising they included a board with 6 x SATA and two 16X PCIe slots and USB3 too, which is sort of an odd combo when paired with PS/2 kbd and mouse ports plus only a 3 jack analog audio out.

Not sure if I'd want the 2 x 4GB instead of 1 x 8GB which leaves the option to pick up another 1 x 8GB later with lower chance of compatibility issues by running 2 modules instead of 4 or not having the 2 x 4GB go to waste. Then again, on this class of system 2 x 4GB may be enough, certainly more than the average person replacing a system right now was used to having.

At the least I'd plan on replacing the LQ Coolermaster sleeve bearing fan with a dual ball bearing fan, especially considering it's going to be running at least at moderate if not higher RPM most of the time.
