Well, I want to check out this game, looks enticing. Note, however, that in order to download it, you'll need a proprietary download manager you have to install. This is lame. I know Steam is the same way, but I stayed with it for decades now and I trust it. I's rather avoid installing networking applications of this sort if I can help it.

Did you see if it can be activated on Steam? I know I purchased a couple of games from the but I don't have their software installed. It's been a while so I don't remember the details... Maybe it's just an uninstallable downloader...

Maybe I should have checked the Steam option, but I was hoping this suggested one is OK... Which was not quite the case. First you d/l 5GB of digital material, which then promptly starts to update and patch itself, so by the time you finally get to play it's like doing root canal twice in a row... And it's true you are prompted to enter the activation code 3 times in the process... I mean as software integration goes, it's an abject failure. But wait, you also need to install a separate network component from Ubisoft which (you guessed right) also gets busy updating itself and then forces you to create yet another account.

As the game goes, it's quite decent, but just doesn't blow my hair back. I'll be playing for a while, it's not bad, in retrospect it may or may not have been worth the frustration.
