Whoa, a $50 rebate for this "lame duck". Even if down to $430 this will get you into a new Pascal (Maxwell v2) 1070 "Supreme Founder Editions" in a couple of weeks. That appears to get you more close to the 2K performance of now the quickly tumbling 980Ti, though not near its' 4K.
Don't do this! Nvidia has shown thier hand, and this still has the "paying Tribute" price all over it. Consider a little more than a year ago it could've been had for $470. In this model replacement cycle it's now just 8% less, and doubt it was working some $50 rebate back then, I would've made note of that. For what's great 2K now in mid 2016 I anticipate only needing to spend $300-350. This is nuts!
