All of these models are point-of-use, not whole house water heaters. Don't think that for $100 you can replace a 40-50-gallon conventional water heater in a residence and receive instant hot water at even the furthest-away water faucet. It does NOT work like that.
Good for bathroom sinks and maybe a kitchen sink but don't expect to get enough hot water to take a shower. This also requires a 240V wiring and some say proper venting but I don't know if it needs venting. Also, expect to get around 30-40 degrees warming at best for the largest model. So if you start with 50 degree cold water in the northern states then you will only get up to around 90 degrees at best. Some say 2 devices inline to double warm it to get to the 120-140 degrees that you need for proper washing of dishes and taking a shower.
The other thing to be aware of is these work great for constant pressure (city water) but if you are on a well the water temp will rise as your flow drops off and when the well pump turns on and the flow increases the temperature will drop until the heaters catch up. This might not be an issue for sinks but showers you vacillate between scalding and chilly.
