This could be a breakthrough for my therapy. I can now leave the house without unplugging the toaster.

Good for use with ricer cookers you want to leave on the counter. Many rice cooker models provide only a yank out the plug feature to turn them off...

    Here's a timer switch:

I don't understand what is great about this deal. I bought a $1 version from a dollar store 5 years ago after my touch-on-touch-off-lamp sensor broke down 2nd time and it still works perfectly after 5 years. Moreover unlike this one mine also has lighted switch so one tell from a distance whether switch is on or not. Helpful when the lamp's bulb breaks down and there is no way of knowing whether there is no power in that socket or need to replace the bulb.

So i'm suppose to crawl under a desk to turn something off? Get the Belkin Conserv power strip with a WIRELESS on off switch. I have mine loaded up with all of those vampire wall worts. If I need to charge something, flip the paddle switch, charge, switch off when i'm done.

A dollar extension cord with a switch does the same job and ... gasp ... can be placed a couple of feet away from the plug so no need to bend!

The reason this is better than the other, lame-ass b&m switches is this is the only one that can be used with grounded plugs.
