Sony BDP-S3100 may seem like a deal, but see:

    http://community.sony.com/t5/Blu-Ray-Netflix-Online-Video/When-are-you-fixing-your-servers/m-p/154213

There is also some concern about what the device is sending to Sony without your knowledge. The terms of service (https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/info/terms-of-use.action?request_theme=liquid&displayBackButtons=true&flow=externalCreateAccount) provide that:

Sony "may collect and share with its affiliates" - ... - read it before you buy.

Given current prices for tvs and low power draw I would not suggest anything below a 47 inch 1080p tv with 3 or more hdmi inputs and to avoid smart tvs like the plague.

Target giving a $100 GC with the purchase of iPad Air. Wonder how Apple allows them to do this on a brand new product unless they are not really selling.

Apple controls the retail price. What it can not control is all the "bundles". That is how the retailer can give you a discount on something that can NOT be discounted. If you think about it, that 100 gift card can only be used at Target so really, they are not loosing all that much.

x2 on avoiding Smart TVs. Fought a Samsung that would prevent you from using any smart features if a update came out. You would then spend the next hour doing an update.

I am in the market for a new iPad Air but was definitely waiting until Black Friday. Nice to see Best Buy has them on sale. It looks like just the 16GB version is listed. Hopefully the 64GB version is on sale too.

Best Buy seems to be a slight disappointment this year compared to past years.

I really loved the whole set of kitchen appliances, too bad our home closes before then and we had to buy from Schaffers.

You'll notice that sentence is everywhere now. I always just assume they will no matter what you buy and connect to the net.
