Maybe I'm confused, but the linked safe for $35 says it's not waterproof while this one for $20 says it's both waterproof and fire resistant: http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?partNumber=271644-1419-2013&langId=-1&storeId=10151&productId=3029603&catalogId=10051&cmRelshp=req&rel=nofollow&cId=PDIO1

20 bucks is a good deal.. but I wouldn't trust keeping my valuables in this safe. Spend more money on a quality one

I never trust a safe that is that small and cheap. Besides you can keep hardly anything in there.

Waterproof? save money and use a ziplock bag instead.
Fireproof? OK, may be I buy it for this reason.
