OMG a pretty good discount on Bose? Wow. This probably isn't too bad of a deal. Still can't think of spending $300 on a sound system that doesn't have 5.1 + Blu-Ray.

I bought this but have yet to hook it up. However, it sounded very nice in store and seemed pretty easy to connect from what I saw.

Holding out for one made by Dyson that multiplies gallons of sound and has a hoop at the top.

Not bad. Sam's has the 54 inch Vizio true 5.1 soundbar for under $300 right now.

This will give you more detailed sound and bass than a discount soundbar in this price range. You would need to spend $1000+ (like Sonos) for better quality. Only downfall is not expandable and limited to inputs on TV.

If you are an audiophile, you may be disappointed with the Cinemate Series, whether these or the GS II, but that does not mean these are bad speakers. Personally, I believe the Series II sounded the same or a bit better than the GS II (which only gives smaller speakers and a universal remote).

I left a video review of this on Amazon. Look at the newest reviews and its somewhere around there. I go over everything and share what I think about it. I've owned it for a month or so.

Decent deal for amazing sound. I have only heard these in store, and they really filled up the Big Box I was in. These are definitely on the short list for when I buy speakers in a few weeks.

I'm not a huge fan of Bose, as I find them typically overpriced.

I did my own Mirage satellite + Mirage subwoofer + audiosource amp. That cost me about $275 with some of it being used.

This is a similar 2.1 for $350. I'd jump on it if I needed one.

    Also for those expecting 1
This is a 2.1, and is really meant to improve those tiny speakers in the ultra-flat (
