Today only. Newegg has the Brother DCP-7065DN Monochrome Laser Multi-Function Printer for $85 with free shipping. Features up to 27ppm print and copy speeds, ethernet network interface, automatic duplex, and a 35-page auto document feeder. Goes for $120+ elsewhere.
$130 Retail: $180
Pretty nice printer/scanner, been around a while. Has automatic duplex printing. At this price get a spare for parts (the drum alone at 12K prints sells for well over $100.) scanning is easy to use. Have not tried the OCR capability, but I plan to use other s/w for that anyway. It does support TWAIN - at least as a download. Accepts the TN450 hi-yield toner used in numerous other Brother B/W printers and multis. I have three at home - one on each floor - and one at office - and I'll buy another at this price! I would rather standardize for easy maintenance and supplies than get all the bells and whistles on the newest models. Only lack is that the scanning auto feeder does not do automatic input duplexing - that is, automatic scanning of both sides. This model has USB and RJ45 connections, no wireless.
^ Retail packaged genuine Brother drums sell for $63 delivered on Amazon.

This is a very inexpensive printer to own since you can also get bulk toner for DIY refills for $5 delivered each on eBay, or even less in volume, or 3rd party whole cartridges (w/o drum) for about $14.
Dave_c - certainly there are Internet and third-party sales cheaper than downtown office suppliers. I've pretty much given up on third-party supplies, even toners. Two work fine, then the next spews toner! Generally okay to refill once or twice but not more - and refillers don't count them. Anyway, having a whole unit for replacement parts keeps available both the individual parts and also the whole machine if it just explodes. A good compromise is to keep one of the models which use the same internals but no scanner often sold around $50 (or with duplexing for maybe $15 more). Then you've got parts plus a full system replacement.
Everyone has their own strategy for printer maintenance. I only offer one that has worked well for me on another model Brother printer.
You can't keep refilling a cart forever, after 3 or so bulk toner refills you have to strip and refurb a cart yourself or buy the $14 3rd party cart then use and refill it. Either way, I won't ever again buy any OEM printer supplies.
If you find the quality of 3rd party supplies lacking, there's a reason to keep a spare cartridge around as well as bulk toner... I'd do that anyway so if you have a print job that needs done you aren't crippled by a low toner message.
Newegg currently has Rosewill TN450 replacement cartridges for this and other Brother printers with same print engine on sale.
