4 - Believe it or not, I've tasted the stuff.

Blech. Nothing but Barbecue sauce on a strip of tree bark.

How does Bufalo Bill's stack up to Jack Link's or Oberto?

    JediKnight,

In my biased opinion, Buffalo Bill's Jerky is superior. It is made from solid pieces of meat raised in the United States and is cut and hung the old fashioned way...by hand. This way ensures the best cuts and most flavorful jerky possible.

The Jack Link's and Oberto jerky is manufactured by mechanical processes outside of the United States from imported meats. Some of their products proudly state "packaged in the United States"...which is a big difference from "Made in the United States". All of this is done to get costs down...but the price of that is a lower quality product.

To some people, price is one of the biggest factors when buying jerky. To those people, American made jerky may not be for them. It costs more to manufacture. But for the people who want high-quality jerky. This is a great choice.

Long answer to your short question...but thats my job. Smile
