This is a nice deal for $386 for a good camera.I've always had good luck with rebates but figure I'm taking a risk. I've had a couple that I didn't get and $400 seems like a bit too much of a risk.

The thumbnail picture also shows an additional telephoto lens. Kind of misleading.

Rebates are based on risk management. Otherwise they would just discount the items. $400 is too much to risk when Amazon has the same camera with goodies for $437. Adorama sold me a bad camera a few years back and it was a hassle to deal with them. Amazon on the other hand is top notch on returns and overall customer satisfaction...NO deal here for me.

ive had no problems w/ the $400 amex prepaid card when it was offered w/ my canon xsi. i just used it for gas which went by quickly. getting rid of the printer was another issue... fleabay is flooded w/ them. $ 786 total, no tax in CA, vs $901 Amazom.
