If you like printing manuals instead of carrying a pad with a PDF file, this is for you. I purchased a Ricoh color laser from a Ben's Ad through and I and glad I did. It prints photos well but you need to purchase a $1000 dollar laser color printer to equal a Ink Jet Printer
Canon toner is $144 for black and $119 for color, however, you can get a 5-pack for (2xBlack, C/M/Y) for about $100
No AirPrint but they have a Canon app for IOS
USB 2.0 Hi-Speed, 10/100 Base T Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n Wireless
Windows 8® , Windows 7, Windows Server® 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista®, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Linux, Citrix, Mac OS X 10.6 and up
Relatively low cost after market toner replacement. For you guys to get an idea ~$60 gets you 3x black + 1x each color (6 total) on , not refills.
No Airprint is a deal breaker for me. I'm currently using a Canon MX822 (ink) to handle occassional printing jobs from PC and iOS devices. Still looking for economical laser printer for the crisp text printing.
Color laser printers have come a long way price-wise.
Not very long ago, a printer like this was in the $500 range, some even much higher.
This is a good deal.
600x600 might not be good enough for some people's needs, but it's good enough for me.
Since it is also wireless, this is a good time to replace my fairly old HP mono laser printer (which is not wireless).
