$30 $106
Update [12/17]: The original listing was incorrect. If you redeem the $20 credit through Best Buy, you do not qualify for the additional $20 credit via Chromecast offers. I've always wondered how this compares to the Apple TV and the
    Amazon
    FireTV. Any thoughts?

Wow. That really seems like a lot of product/credit for just $30. Anyone have personal chromecast versus fireTV versus AppleTV experience?

Kochdk, have you tried Googling for that which you seek?
    Look on
    Amazon
    for personal reviews and comparisons.

Also, this may help (from Googling "chromecast vs fire stick"):

This is a pretty good deal. I just bought a Chromecast, and it's been awesome. I even replaced a WD TV Live for this. Funny thing is I'm an Apple guy, but my iDevices all work with the Chromecast

Here is the simple answer to the question.

If you are in any one universe,
    amazon
, apple, google, you are probably going to be better off with that specific device.

If you are somewhat across universe, android and apple ios/osx, you are probably better off with the apple tv (it's more expensive, but I find the suite of available channels and functionality, ease, robustness, etc. better. Key things that are missing with apple are VUDU (my preferred rental streaming service) and
    amazon
    is missing.

If you want to save some money and are equal android/google and ios, get the chromecast, this device and deal makes it a no brainer at this point. 30$ is 30$, and you get at least 30$ of apps, movies, songs, all can be used.

If you are specific JUST to
    amazon
PRIME and have prime streaming movies then you might do the fire tv, it's a decent device but I find the interface to still be a bit clunky as are the devices. The regular fire tv is the same size as apple tv, but it doesn't do anywhere near as much or as well. No easy computer or device to fire tv streaming, it's a streamer for the most part. The stick is a bit worse, not as many channels yet or as robust

    does that help?

This is a pretty amazing bundle. I gifted my mom with one of these earlier in the year and she loves it. She even wants a second one. It's easy to set up and use.

Tried it when it first came out. I mainly wanted to stream TV shows from computer to tv but it was very poor and playback was horrible. Maybe it's better now? I have since sold mine. Also have Roku which worked better for me than Chromecast.

Don't really have a need for Chromecast (use Roku + tv that streams my network computers), but at this price I can hardly pass it up!

False!!! I bought it yesterday from best buy online, got the $20 credit from BB, no credit from google. When trying to register it gave me a free x-men movie, a trial on hulu, google music and some other network but no $$$.

yeah, many online sites are saying it's ONE 20$ coupon only. We'll see, not that great a deal then IMHO..any way to verify or have someone show/prove they have gotten both?

    awesome deal, thanks!

coworker of mine has the apple tv and roku - he likes both equally the same. he tried the chromecast and found it to be lacking the features he's used to. i have the chromecast and fire stick - much prefer the fire stick, but sometimes i just want to stream a video from some website and that's when my chromecast works better for me.
