Ben, it is a $20 rebate, not $30. The resulting price is in fact $30 after discounts/rebates, which means that while the answer is correct, the math is actually wrong... :-/

half the people on Newegg probably cant even install a new hard disk into their PC so how they would try to work this is beyond on my comprehension.
for instance the 8TB WDSHARESPACE NAS gets horrible reviews everywhere (especially on Newegg at the time) and if I were to listen to every review I would be missing out on a lot of great products.
the WDSHARESPACE has been running over 6 years without 1 issue and is on 24/7.
but then again im a MCSE with 15 years of IT experience in corporate environments.
summary: you never know how smart the reviewer is
