Con: Some people think that a seasoned grill makes meat that tastes better. If you use too rough a brush too hard on a porcelain-coated grill, you can wear through the coating, and then it WILL rust.
I now sous vide my meat, so it's essentially perfectly cooked already. The grill is then used to sear it off. For that style of cooking, this grill is perfect. It's portable, gets out of the way when you're not using it, and is easy to clean. The smaller cooking space is irrelevant if all you're doing is searing.
