Works fine, gets good reviews by those who know how to use them which means press down hard and turn very slowly. It's not a guaranteed way to get out every stuck fastener but one of the easier ways to get out some of them.

I usually have pretty good luck just using the correct bit and pounding it into the stripped fastener head to reshape the drive feature and it tends to loosen the threads. Sometimes a different bit will work better depending on the style. Square drives work good in philips heads. Never tried these, not sure I'm missing out on anything. I already have more tools than I know what to do with.

^ Yeah there are several things to try to get a stuck fastener out. Sometimes penetrating oil is all it takes, or phosphoric acid to dissolve the rust, or an impact driver, or heating the surrounding metal, or cutting a notch in the head with a dremel tool or hacksaw, or drilling the fastener out and putting in a helicoil and/or tapping the next larger thread size, or grinding off the head leaving the rest in place, tapping a new hole in a different location.
