^ A lot of generic lights lie about lumens and claim far more than they have. This is just a little less bright than any (Cree) 3W light running on 1 x Li-Ion or 3 x AA.

For a brighter light pick something using a 10W Cree XM-L LED but it will have much shorter runtime on high mode.

Its light bulb will not last long.
Buy Maglite then you will be happier
