Normally 14 and change at Amazon, so this is a good price.

Really, really great flashlight. More like 200 lumens, but still very very bright.

Be aware that this takes special batteries, which, after the batteries and charger will be more than the flashlight itself... But still worth it.

I really really want to confirm that is not a standard very bright but rather a very very bright flashlight. I bought a very very bright flashlight once on a recommendation but it turned out to only be a very bright flashlight so I want to be careful with the next very very bright or very, very, very bright flashlight I buy...

While this might only be very bright, it probably also gets very hot.

Looks just like the one I got on Amazon for $12.55 (shipped). What they don't mention is that it needs a 18650 battery most likely NOT included at this price.

Yeah, it has to use a 18650 cell, there's no way a AA could supply enough current... not even an eneloop, though possibly 2 x AA NiMH could for a little while.

If these ship from a US warehouse that's a bonus as usually the lowest cost merchants take 3 weeks coming from Hong Kong.

Not enough room for 2x AA. There's gonna be a LOT of pissed people when they get a flashlight and drop a AA battery in and they realize it's about ½" too short.

^ True, I just meant if they had chosen to make it a 2 x AA form factor and add a voltage boost circuit. Even if you used a spacer for 1 x AA to bridge the gap it wouldn't work because there's no boost circuit in it, the voltage would still be too low.

Or for a few bucks more buy a good light like this:
    http://amzn.to/WyNhmJ
Takes 123a batteries, and is much brighter than any LED....mind you it gets hot...but that is the physic's of creating light.
    Fyi, batteries are

Ragman what you linked is rated at 65 lumens or 120 lumens with an upgraded bulb sold separately.

I've no doubt it's higher quality and in some jobs being non-metallic is a plus, but this LED light (if we assume the real output is around 500 lumens) is between 4 to 8 times as bright.

Also, that one only runs for an hour. My ITP EOS A3, a tiny 1 x AAA LED keychain light runs for almost an hour producing more light, and doesn't get more than warm doing so... which makes it handy to hold in your mouth if you need both hands free to do something, but I also love it because the clip can be reversed making it lightweight and small enough to wear on a ball cap as a headlamp, small enough to EDC without noticing you have it till it's needed. On the other hand I'm sure it doesn't throw as far due to the reflector they chose.

Would that make it very bright or very very bright?
