    Actually, it's not expensive for a quality pocket knife. Most of mine cost quite a bit more, and were worth it.

    The real issue is whether you have a demanding enough use that you need a quality knife but somehow have to have a folder instead of a full tang, fixed blade instead. Most situations will be one or the other but not both.
