This seems to be the opposite of a bargain.

TLDR: Know what you're getting here.

From the description on the Gearbest website:

"Z8350 excellent performance, can fit for 4K video editing"

..... I THINK NOT. This is an Atom chip. It's made for very low power with very basic performance. You don't use Atoms for gaming, video or anything intensive. You use them when you're single purpose - like web browsing with a few tabs open, writing a document, maybe playing music in the background but not doing much else. So less of a stretching of the truth, more of a complete "fake information" in that 4k description me thinks. And remember that the screen isn't 4k so 4k video editing my derriere.

OK so the specs are similar to the Chuwi H10 Pro/Plus 2 in 1 also often discounted on Gearbest. Similar form factor, dual boot with Android - wouldn't be surprised if they were made in the same factory. In the Chuwi case, they use the slightly older z8300 "Cherry Trail " chip which was released in circa Q2.2015. The new (Q1.2016) z8350 used in Cube model here is only considered very slightly better - very slightly higher clock frequency, a fix to a video issue seen in Cherry Trail but that's about it. The Chuwi tablets have higher screen resolution and in the last deal had the 2 in 1 WITH a snap on Keyboard for IIRC $170, whereas the deal DOES NOT have the keyboard included.

Honestly, when you read up on the reports on the Chuwi, it puts you in two minds - sure they may be a great deal for a 2 in 1 form factor and a 2 in 1 Android / Windows notebook, but the reliability reports both hardware and software just aren't good. At my age, I have zero tolerance to take on more flakey technology - I need reliable.

Just saying: Know what you're getting into here.
