The mixing blade bakes with the bread and when you remove the blade, it leaves a large hole in the bottom of the bread. Other than that it does a decent job with baking the bread. It all depends on the bread mix you use as well. In my opinion it's worth spending the time to make a great loaf of bread yourself than using this contraption - it's really not that difficult. We baked may be 3 loafs with this thing, and now it sits in my basement.... :(
I had Bread Maker and take it to work. The early started the machine, and lunch for others workers. It worked 3 years, 5 times a week. This a nice tool keep others happy.

Got one of these for Christmas, what an awesome machine. It's an Easy-Bake Oven for adults. Toss in your ingredients, start the machine, and 3 hours later you're enjoying fresh warm bread. Yes, oven-baked bread is great, but this machine is for people who are looking for convenience. I've already used it over a twenty times since I got it and I'm only getting started.
