    If you do nothing but drip coffee, ie Mr. Coffee or equivalent, this grinder is your best value if you want it fresh ground.

    I bought a refurb several years ago and have used the heck out of it. I like this unit soo much I bought a 2nd on just in case. I would not hesitate to buy another. You can adjust the grind on the fly depending on the application such as wanting a very fine grind for cappuccino or the refillable k-cups.

    I used to mess these POS grinders. I learned its better to buy small bags and grind them at the store with the $1000 commercial grinders.

    If you can afford it get a high rated "conical" burr grinder. Figure more than $100. Essentially an over grown pepper mill. Not the flat burr ones like this or blender types. Most don't know the difference. Much better grind control and usually run slower, cooler, and quieter. It crushes the beans rather than chopping them up. Like the spendy ones at the grocery store.
