Toner coats about 39 dollars on e-bay, good low cost printer, reviews are OK, looks like the wireless side can cause a headache.

Good review on the unit below:

Coupon " ...Not valid on desktop or laptop computers, tablets, netbooks, Chromebooks, Apple® products, Bose® products, Amazon Kindle®, NOOK®, HP ink and toner, Epson ink and toner, Keurig® coffee brewers, printers, fax and copier machines,...etc."

Spend a little more and go w/ the Brother refurb mentioned earlier. I've gotten a few Br. refurbs before from St. and they have been like new. The savings in toner will offset the diff.

These are cheaper than buying the ink cartridges by themselves.....

I am sure they are only demo cartridges which provide like half the ink.....

But.....This is almost a no brainer.....

Especially for saving money on printing in black and white instead of printing B&W on expensive HP color all in ones.....

Low initial investment but if you print much the TCO over its lifetime will be higher than with some other sub-$100 lasers due to it having a microchip in the cartridge that must be replaced when refilled.

1 refill, 1500 pages worth of bulk toner with the chip costs about $18 on eBay opposed to $6 for chipless printers.
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/100g-Toner-Refill-Kit-for-Dell-B1160-B1160W-YK1PM-F4P6V-Series-Reset-Chip-/271222672280

The curious thing is that some toner sellers are selling it without the chip(s), you'd think they would have received enough complaints that they mentioned this detail.

Anyway, we've seen deals on basic Brother & Samsung printers in the past for $50 or less that only need the $6 toner and/or a one-time cost of $2 for a reset gear if you're reusing a starter cartridge, so this printer makes more sense if you really need wifi and don't print much.

Great printer that gets the job done and doesn't take up a lot of space. This printer is totally perfect for small time use, and will fit in any room.

You expect automatic duplex for anything remotely close to this price? No? Then why even click on the deal or comment on it?

Yeah, and no auto-collate either. Sheesh Sad

Actually, it's good to have a generic black laser printer for bulk printing. Then get either a color laser or inkjet for the fancy stuff. At this price, it's a no-brainer.

To hell with the coupon. This is cheaper than set of ink in microcenter and comes with toner. Wireless worked fine in wi 7/8 64bits

Found a few in stores nearby. Heads up to Macintosh users: No drivers for systems beyond 10 . 7 !!!!
However, I was able to use a XP media server to share the printer using an Airprint hack, and Mavericks (and iOS) was able to print to it fine.
