They awaiting to hit the right mark than declare bankruptcy. There goes those $100 gift card. Only those company that is in deep S* will do gift cards conjunction with all their promo.

They do it to boost their quarterly sales figures. It used to be that they'd offer something at an impossibly low price towards that end, then wait a few days to cancel the orders.

Yeah, they expire. I think it is like 3 or 6 months. Also, you cannot combine it with other egift cards or regular gift cards. They expect you to just pay out of pocket for any remaining balance to your purchase.
