Yes they do, and this one is the granddaddy of them all. Great for a homeowner - this is a compact, light weight, and well balanced drill that's been around for years and just works. I'm not sure why the battery tech matters - there are two batteries included - leave one in the charger at all times, and swap it with the one in the drill at the start of every project. Swap it out when the battery runs low.
This price is $80 cheaper than Lowe's, and about $55 cheaper than (depending on seller). The impact driver and bag are a nice bonus. I've used many of these over the years and have always been impressed - I'm tempted to buy this even though my 11 year old Makita works fine (a much larger and heavier drill that can get tiresome after a while).
I've got $160'ish wrapped up in my (pair +2 batt's) 20-Volt Max Lithium-Ion 1/2" drill and 1/4" driver, so for Ni-Cad stuff it's a alright deal.
While the Lithium do seem to work long(er) they do give little warning before the just drop off. I find at first sign they are dropping switch, and they seem to recharge quick (40 min) and fully up well before I see need to switch again. Nice is the 1/4" driver does 3" deck screws more effectively and efficiently than the drill alone, and can pre-drill without changing back and forth. Though should grab a third batt-pack to stay ahead of the game in that situation but that's $75 new.

It's funny how often that it can make more sense just to buy another "combo deal" just to pick up the batteries you need at a more reasonable price than if you buy the batteries separately.

Thank you!
