Bag is a good deal, but they get the piece count up by including so many duplicate driver bits, I wish the drill bit selection had a wider range of sizes.
Yes and no. These aren't the impact rated bits so they won't last as long as those that are specifically labeled for impact drivers (typically the black bits), but they will still work for quite some time. I've found that eventually I'll snap a Phillips bit off regardless of what the rating is, but these won't last quite as long. So if you are build a deck you will probably go through a few bits before you're done.
The torx bits are generally the weak link as the heads will "twist" over time so you can see the failure coming. For those the difference is more noticeable. Most of the time the Phillips strip out long before they snap off, so you just end up replacing them more often. For the price, it is still a good deal although I wish they didn't include so many standard (flat head) bits in these kits because I never use them and I already have a massive stockpile.
