The seller says it's "HD Home Theater" and "1080-HDMI" in the title, then 1024x768 in the item specifics, then buried in the item description they say 640x480 native resolution and max input is 720i/p. I'm gonna move on to the next deal, but maybe someone else should buy this and let us all know.
Word high def does not references nor it mean 1080p. Contrast ratio 800:1 is no more than a few candles.
I didn't say HD was 1080p. Wikipedia at your link says HD is "video image with considerably more than 480 horizontal lines", but the seller confirmed to me that this projector is only 640x480 so that would make it 'standard def', right? The seller said it's HD because you can connect HD equipment and it will downscale to 640x480.
