If you don't need large storage you can get 100GB of free storage at DeGoo (a Swedish clouds company). I had already taken their offer. I think it is a promotion for a limited time.

I have used dropbox for stuff that isn't private, basically I don't care if someone gets a hold of the stuff. I don't put anything private in the cloud. Too many hackers out there.
If all you need is 100GB, Prometeus.net gives you a whole virtual server for ~$5/month. It has 125GB storage, 2TB bwidth/month, 1GB RAM, dedicated IP4/IP6 and 1 CPU core. Install nextcloud and you got your own self hosted 100GB cloud storage, plus your own OS to boot.

Are other cloud storage sites any better? I'd go with Google Drive, they read the emails anyway, must well keep it with 1 vendor.
I think you got that mixed up. MS Onedrive recently lowered their "free" tier from 15GB to 5GB.
Thank you!
