Kind of makes up for increasing the minimum order requirement not being able to split their plans for Prime; I could really care less for their streaming services, I just want to get Prime shipping only at an affordable rate, goddamn it -_-

Best
Amazon
news I've read in years, though I'd expect the prices on qualifying items will rise a little.

Anyone know if the shipping is going to be UPS/Fedex Surepost or Smartpost where it's handed off to USPS for delivery, or USPS all the way, or all UPS, or ??

"Student" Prime. $49/year thereafter as long as you provide a University email address. Same as the full blown Prime but for students.... Get you some of that!!

One thing I'm confused about is why would they limit the free shipping to items that cost under $10? Seems like it would be even more cost effective for them to offer it on higher priced items, or is that just too many items to fit in what seems to be a single warehouse doing the fulfillment?
