I wanted this hotspot. Do they have 4G LTE (NOT WiMAX) around Knoxville. They say to look at their coverage map. I did. It showed 4G LTE available around Knoxville. So I bought one. It will only connect 3G. Customer service says that they do not have 4G LTE in our area, enjoy your 3G. What a waste.
Remember, on any plan, if you do not associate a credit/debit card to your account then your data will be cut off BEFORE the limit. So the 500 MB becomes 400 MB. And if you sign up be sure to scan the ENTIRE web form and UNcheck all of the extras.
They're not exactly very forthcoming with info on the web site, but these discounted devices are usually old WiMax ****. Great if you're in one of the couple of spots where it works, until they finally put this moribund technology to rest. Not really worth the bother.
