"Famous Maker" sounds like a Chinese knockoff.

Spent time reading up on this unit and declined to purchase. No BT is already a showstopper, plus there are quality complaints, lo-res screen (by today's standards), it's too heavy etc. It will probably do fine as a photo frame, but I don't need one.

I agree that no Bluetooth is a dealbreaker. Somebody in the Woot discussion indicated that there WAS Bluetooth on the one they received. It would be useless to me without it, but with it, it's a steal.

I thought this was a smoking deal at $100 shipped 2 weeks ago. Great tablet, wish I got it at this price!

From everything I am seeing this is identical to the one I purchased 2 weeks ago. Mine has BT, I use it with my BT headphones.

Where do you live that has such a high tax rate? It makes CA's tax look like a deal (after shipping and tax, it's $70).

there was a recycling fee of $3... so i guess to actual total was about $73. I must have read as $78. My fault.

Indicated Bluetooth in the specs everyone. We'll see about the res... indicated 1280x800 which my 7" tablet has but we'll see. 1Gb / 16GB with quad processor is acceptable for a tablet and the one I have is similar, no complaints. Bought 2 so averaged $70/ea to California. These will be nice gifts! Square D insurance can be bought up to 60 days after purchase so you can still consider that option for additional 1-year protection. Only 35 minutes left in the deal folks!
