      No, it's not a precise comparison. $65 less for no touchscreen, 6GB instead of 8GB RAM, but a marginally larger HDD (750GB vs 640GB). Otherwise, specs are same, as you'd expect for the same family of notebook.
      The larger question is whether you want to grab these one of these Trinity-driven models as the newer Richland models (typically in the 20% more capable range) are beginning to show up here and elsewhere lately for competitive prices. If price is your primary qualifier, these are solid deals.

      Thanks for the info, I will pass as my 17.3 HP Win 7 is doing fine. + mine has a 9 cell battery that lasts over 6 hours. I will wait until something comes along in the 17" screen. I sure don't see any 9 cells laptops anymore, I never want to go back to less battery.
