Too bulky for only four gigs... If youre gettin a hard drive get more space than four gigs. If you only need four gigs get the flash drive style storage, definitely more convenient and ergonomic as far as carrying it around goes.

worst of both worlds. Big and delicate like a hard drive, slow and small capacity to price ratio like a thumb drive. Choose one or the other.

Yeah, way outdated. I have the old Creative Labs "precious bounty" mp3 player with this drive. Solid state is the way to go.

I work at staples, these have been around for a while... old technology if you didnt notice, its bulky because its actually a hard drive and not flash memory. Not worth it at all since during other weeks I have seen these go for cheaper sales prices...

I don't trust micro hard drives - good price for 4GB but flash memory with its size and speed advantages will hopefully soon drop down to this price.

4 GB is not enough, this thing is small, like the size of ligher. but u need at least 8 GB

not hot b/c you can get same in smaller format for same price. these are a relic of the past. Okay, not past, but have become obsolete in a year...

I have a 12GB that cost me around $40 on woot almost a year ago. . .they are slower than the typical solid state drives. . .and now that you actually have options even up to the 8GB size. . .not much use in my opinion.

I thought maybe for a vehicle HU USB connection, but I don't think this is road worthy.

They are a solution to a problem that no longer exists. Buy a thumbdrive and be done with it.
