I think $50 is becoming the norm for 128g SSd's now. So let's push the 250g's into the low $90's and we'll be set for next year.

Amen Shmeagle. I want to upgrade but $150 for 256 is too much.

SSD hard drives are excellent. Highly recommended if you are on the fence.

The past 4 weeks I've bought 3 250G SSD's. 2 of them Samsung Evo for $113 and the other $85 Corsair with the rebate and one Sandisk higher end for $95.

I wouldn't bother with a 128 anymore. 256 ers are routinely dropping below $100.

With media devices like ipods, ipads,i wasn't happy till it hit 64gb. With ssd's 256gb is the sweet spot. 128gb can fill up surprisingly fast with your basic apps.

Cheap price for an Intel 120GB SSD but with BF around the corner, I am holding out a bit longer.

Getting this SSD was the single-most noticeable upgrade I have done.

@jacflash I agree. I did the same. I'm just getting antsy about getting the next drive when BF is so close.

Anybody have thoughts of running a SSD for a small office server drive?
