sells this for $349...but they also have an average 3-egg rating on this particular model, with over 50% of the reviews giving it one, two or three eggs rating. No thanks!
Wait for the 7th Gen, ALWAYS UPDATE THE BIOS BEFORE INSTALLING YOUR OS. Otherwise you too will be part of those negative reviews when you return one of these.
^ Wow, 's links are getting ridiculous. At least you can chop off a lot of it: walmart.com/ip/Intel-NUC-NUC6I7KYK-Desktop-Computer-Intel-Core-i7-6th-Gen-i7-6770HQ-2.60-GHz-Mini-PC-DDR4-SDRAM-RAM-Intel-Iris-Pro-Graphics-580-DDR4-SDRA/131902567" target="_blank">https://www..com/ip/Intel-NUC-NUC6I7KYK-Desktop-Computer-Intel-Core-i7-6th-Gen-i7-6770HQ-2.60-GHz-Mini-PC-DDR4-SDRAM-RAM-Intel-Iris-Pro-Graphics-580-DDR4-SDRA/131902567
The i7 NUC seems like a really limited market, who wants to spend the coin for an i7 but end up with a virtually non-upgradable box that has the lowly Intel video?
While it'll decode 1080p video, cheaper solutions will too, yet most remotely modern video games are unplayable with it at that now ubiquitous resolution.
On the other hand I'm sure there are some people who want a box just like that, or else Intel's market research wouldn't have caused them to make it. A lot of people get by with Intel video and replace rather than upgrade a system.
