It sounds like a good deal, but why would anyone buy a iPhone when there are so many great Android phones?

Can't wait until you can buy a model that's unlocked - to the point where you can use it with a non-AT&T carrier.

I have an Android Samsung Captivate and an iPhone 4. I have to say Android OS is not as convenient as iOS and a lot less apps in the market place. Android can be rooted and do a lot of stuff that iPhone can't so Android is for geeks. iOS mostly favors be casual people who want less troubles.

AT&T is fine. I don't think Verizon will be a better experience - won't be able to do voice and data at the same time and possibly lower battery charge Verizon seems to have more -tves than +tves

This is a classic bait and switch deal by Radio Shack. I talked to my local store. They haven't stocked an i Phone yet and they think they may have a phone next week after the program has expired. "While supplies last"gives them an escape clause so they don't have to provide the product. They just want you in the store so they can sell you something that you don't want. It's really sad that during the holidays merchants would stoop this low.
