Newegg with Tool King has the Irwin 3-Piece Metric Quick-Adjusting Wrench Set (207040711) for $15 with free shipping. Includes 6", 10" and 12" metric quick-adjusting wrenches.
#1: The jaw rides on a bar similar to the more traditional wrenches with millimeter teeth. Since these teeth are so fine I'm sure they will fit snugly enough to turn any SAE nut. I think its called metric because it has a ruler on the side of the tool that is metric. The ruler is cosmetic and I can't see using it except as informational. Once, you depress the slide downward you just slide the jaw to the nut and release it and it locks holding the teeth in place.
Yes the ruler is for informational purposes, so you can pull the wrench off and know what size fastener you are dealing with for purposes of getting a regular wrench or socket for greater torque or in a tight spot where you need finer increments turning it.
Hmmm...will they also adjust to SAE or do they somehow have stops to just do metric...;>)
eBay's got them for $17 shipped so its not much of a deal.
